Privacy overview
Orloi is designed to store operational history in your Postgres database.
The practical privacy model is:
- you choose the Airtable base and scope
- you choose the Postgres destination
- Orloi writes its output to the dedicated
orloischema - AI features can be disabled or configured separately
Scope controls
Before activation, confirm which Airtable tables and fields are in scope.
Orloi does not collect Airtable data outside the selected base and configured scope. Excluding sensitive tables or fields before activation is the clearest privacy boundary.
Current privacy controls
- Scope can be limited before activation.
- Tables and fields can be excluded from capture.
- AI-derived reports and summaries can be disabled.
- Orloi stores operational history in the customer Postgres destination.
- Orloi does not write back to Airtable.
AI processing
AI features use derived operational context such as compacted events, schema context, metrics, and report bundles.
By default, AI reports use compacted, bounded operational context rather than broad raw Airtable payloads.
Raw events are reserved for provenance, debugging, and recomputation. They are not used as the default report input.
Disable AI-derived reports and summaries when you only want deterministic changelog storage.
AI provider policy
When AI features are enabled, Orloi uses configured AI providers to generate reports, summaries, and other derived interpretation.
Provider behavior depends on the selected provider and contract. For sensitive bases, enable AI processing only with a provider and retention policy that match your requirements.
Responsible use
Orloi is built for operational visibility: audit trails, change history, anomaly detection, and process understanding.
It is not designed or authorized for employee scoring, workforce surveillance, employee performance monitoring, disciplinary decisions, compensation decisions, promotion decisions, termination decisions, or automated HR decision-making.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of Orloi complies with applicable workplace, privacy, data protection, and AI laws, including any requirements to notify employees or conduct internal assessments.
Storage
Orloi stores data in your Postgres database in the orloi schema. Retention is controlled by your database policies and cleanup process.
